Last updated: 22 September 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Lift website and any coaching, assessment, programme, workshop or related service supplied by Lift.

1. About Lift

Lift is operated by Angus Martin.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or participate in Lift coaching services unless we expressly agree otherwise and appropriate parental or guardian arrangements are in place.

By participating, you agree to provide information honestly and to tell us about anything relevant to your ability to exercise safely.

3. Coaching and health

Lift provides fitness, movement and performance coaching. It does not provide medical diagnosis or medical treatment.

The Body Audit and other self-assessment tools provide a coaching baseline based on information you provide. They are indicative rather than diagnostic.

Exercise involves inherent risks. You remain responsible for deciding whether you are able to participate and for seeking advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional where needed.

If you experience significant pain, unusual symptoms or a medical concern, stop the activity and seek appropriate advice.

4. Services

Depending on the service purchased, Lift may provide:

  • personalised programming;
  • mobility, strength and performance coaching;
  • video assessments;
  • programme reviews and feedback;
  • calls or consultations;
  • in-person sessions;
  • private workshops or intensives;
  • educational material;
  • Body Audit results and related resources.

The precise inclusions and duration of your service will be those described when you purchase or agree to it.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

  • provide accurate information;
  • follow coaching instructions responsibly;
  • raise questions if instructions are unclear;
  • use reasonable judgement when training;
  • tell us about material changes affecting your participation;
  • not share paid programmes or materials with others unless expressly permitted.

6. Payments

Prices and payment schedules are shown before purchase.

Where a service is sold as a recurring subscription, you authorise recurring payments in accordance with the agreed billing schedule until cancellation takes effect.

Where a fixed-duration package is purchased upfront, its price, term and included services will be shown before purchase.

7. Cancellations, refunds and consumer rights

Cancellation, rescheduling and refund terms applicable to a particular service will be made clear before purchase or booking.

Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.

Where applicable, cancellation rights for services purchased online will be handled in accordance with UK consumer law.

8. Sessions and appointments

Bookings are subject to availability.

Any cancellation or rescheduling rules for consultations, live coaching, workshops or in-person sessions will be made clear at the time of booking.

Calendly or another scheduling provider may be used to manage appointments.

9. Results

Individual results vary.

We do not guarantee a particular physical, performance, aesthetic or health outcome.

Progress depends on factors including participation, consistency, recovery, health, training history and circumstances outside Lift’s control.

10. Intellectual property

Lift owns or licenses the programmes, videos, assessments, written material, graphics, methodologies and branding made available through the service.

They are provided for your personal use only unless we agree otherwise in writing.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, licence or make commercial use of Lift material without permission.

11. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, distribute malicious software or use Lift materials unlawfully.

12. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

Subject to those rights, Lift is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or that arise from use of the service contrary to instructions, failure to disclose relevant information, or matters outside our reasonable control.

13. Ending services

You may end services in accordance with the cancellation terms applying to your purchase.

We may suspend or end a service where there is a serious breach of these Terms, non-payment, abusive behaviour, safety concern or other reasonable ground.

Any financial consequences will be handled in accordance with the applicable contract and your statutory rights.

14. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights already acquired under an existing consumer contract.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you may also have rights to bring proceedings in the part of the UK in which you live.
